If you do not have any formal certificate for your Japanese ability, we highly recommend joining the free app Duolingo and participating in the ”ERA Japanese Training” class.
By joining, ERA will be able to view your learning progress (XP and time studied) through the class dashboard.
This can serve as proof of your learning efforts when we recommend you to Japanese companies.
Please create your account using your full name as written in your passport.
Job listings will be posted as they become available (currently being prepared).
Each job listing includes a Google Form.
Please submit the following information via the form:
- Personal details: full name, address, date of birth, education, and work history
- A valid photo ID
- Proof of Japanese language ability (choose one):
- Image of a JLPT or other certificate
- Or participation in the Duolingo ”ERA Japanese Training”
Based on your submitted information, we will conduct a document screening.
Results will be sent to you via email.
Please note that we do not disclose reasons for rejection.
Applicants who pass the document screening will be invited to a group-format online interview hosted by ERA.
Please indicate your available dates/times in the application form.
The interview will be held via Google Meet, primarily in Japanese.
If needed, you may use English for parts that are too difficult in Japanese, and subtitles or translation tools are welcome.
The result of this interview will be shared as follows:
ERA → Japanese Agent → Receiving Company in Japan
If a Japanese company expresses interest in hiring you,
you will attend a final online interview involving:
- The Japanese company
- The Japanese recruitment agent
- You (the applicant)
This is the final step to secure a job offer (naitei).
Once you receive a job offer, your travel and deployment process will follow Philippine government procedures.
You must go through a DMW-registered (Department of Migrant Workers) sending agency.
⚠ Even if you are hired directly by a Japanese company,
you cannot legally depart the Philippines without completing DMW registration.
This process is required for all Filipinos working overseas.
Registration is usually handled through MWO (Migrant Workers Office),
a department under the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in Japan (formerly known as POLO).
You must complete the PDOS (Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar), as required by the Philippine government.
- It takes one day to complete.
- Conducted at a government-designated center.
- The fee is free to a few hundred pesos.
- After completion, you will receive a PDOS Certificate.
⚠ You may be denied departure at the airport without this certificate.
Once you have completed both the DMW registration and PDOS,
you can proceed with booking your flight and preparing for departure.
At the airport, you must present the following documents:
- DMW registration documents
- PDOS Certificate
- Signed employment contract

Duolingoは無料アプリで、学習内容そのものは良いとは言えませんが、学習時間やレベルが自動で記録され、ERA事務局が確認できます。
そのため、特にJLPT（Japanese-Language Proficiency Test）などの証明書を持っていない方は、「継続的に学んでいる証拠」としてもERA Japanese Trainingの参加をおすすめします。
アカウントはパスポートに記載されるフルネームで作成してください。
随時、求人情報が掲載されます（現在準備中）。
各求人情報にはGoogleフォームが付いています。
そちらから以下などの情報を入力・提出してください。
- 氏名、住所、生年月日、学歴、職歴などの個人情報
- 顔写真付きの身分証明書
- 日本語力の証明となる画像
または
DuolingoのERA Japanese Trainingに参加
提出された情報をもとに、書類審査を行います。
結果はメールにてお知らせします。
不合格となった場合の理由は開示しておりません。
書類審査を通過した方は、ERA主催のグループ形式のオンライン面談にご参加いただきます。
ご都合の良い日時を、申請時にご記入ください。
面談はGoogle Meetを使って日本語で行われます。日本語では難しい部分はお互い英語で進めましょう。必要に応じて字幕ツールなどを使用してください。
この面談結果はERA→日本のエージェント→日本の受け入れ先に伝わります。
日本の受け入れ先からオファーがあった方は、
日本の受け入れ先企業+日本のエージェント+応募者本人などのオンライン面談に参加していただきます。
この面談で内定を目指します。
日本での内定が決まった後は、フィリピン政府の規定に従って
DMW（Department of Migrant Workers）登録済みの送り出し機関を通じて渡航手続きを進めます。
※日本企業との直接雇用であっても、DMWの登録を経由しないと出国できません。
この登録は、フィリピン人が合法的に海外で働くために必須の手続きです。
※DMWへの登録は、通常「MWO（Migrant Workers Office：旧POLO）」を通して行われ、日本国内にあるフィリピン大使館・領事館の一部門が担当します。
フィリピン政府が義務付けている
PDOS（Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar） を受講してください。
PDOSは1日で完了し、政府指定のセンターで行われます。
受講料は無料〜数百ペソ程度。受講後に「PDOS Certificate」が発行されます。
この証明書がないと、空港での出国ができない場合があります。
DMW関連手続きとPDOS受講が完了したら、航空券の手配と最終出国準備を行います。
空港では以下の書類を提示する必要があります
- DMW登録関連書類
- PDOS証明書
- 雇用契約書
